20 Years of Crab Fest

A note from Emma

"I'll never forget the moment way back in 1999 that I was asked to paint the artwork for the very first Mandurah Crab Fest! I was so excited to create an artwork for an event to showcase our beautiful city and of course our good old blue manna crab. It has been amazing to see Crab Fest grow from a small idea to one of WA's most loved festivals."

"What makes Crab Fest even more special for me is that it's the reason I pursued painting as a career! This first Crab Fest poster led to other painting work and I now have my own gallery in Mandurah."

"Auctioning my original Crab Fest artworks has raised almost $18,000 for various charities including Telethon, Bushfire Appeals and local schools."

Pop into Emma's art marquee on the foreshore to check out her original artworks, prints and art gifts or visit her gallery in Smart Street Mall.
