LiveLighter

Crab Fest is a great excuse to LiveLighter, give these tips a go:

  • Travel to Crab Fest using active transport! Walk, cycle or run to this year's Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest. Take advantage of free bike parking at Reading Cinema and Mewburn Centre! Being active and sitting less is an important part of maintaining a healthy weight.
  • Choose healthy food options. We have made it easy for you to pick healthy options at Crab Fest. Each food stall will have healthier options highlighted by a green sticker on menu boards.
  • Stay hydrated with the LiveLighter hydration station. Swap the sugary drinks for water! It's free, quenches your thirst and has no kolojoules. Bring a refillable water bottle so you can take your own water everywhere you go.
  • Pedal for a smoothie. Visit the cycle powered kitchen in the LiveLighter lounge and you will have to move to get your food!
  • Eat Brighter, LiveLighter. Get more fruit and veg into your life and sample free LiveLighter recipes at the lounge.
  • Walk the entire festival. Did you know if you walk around Crab Fest, you will have walked over 3kms (or 4,000* steps)!

* Estimate only depends on walking style
