With free shuttle buses and bike stations, planning your trip has been made even easier. See below for all your travel options.

BY TRAIN & Shuttle Bus

In under 50 minutes from Perth, you can be at Crab Fest. Plan your trip with the Transperth Journey Planner.

The free shuttle bus service will be running from 10am - 9:30pm on Saturday 16 March and 10am - 7pm on Sunday 17 March.

The convenient shuttle service will run from these pick-up and drop-off locations:

  • Mandurah Train Station
  • Park & ride location at John Tonkin College (off Tindale Street)
  • Ormsby Terrace
  • Leslie Street

Accessible buses will run regularly.

Ride to Crab Fest and park securely for FREE in one of our bike parking stations. Check out the event map for locations.

Crab Fest is an easy drive just 70kms from Perth City Centre, just head south on the Kwinana Freeway and turn off at Mandjoogoordap Drive.

With a little planning, you can take the hassle out of parking! The best spot to park is at a designated Charity parking area not far from the event.

  • Coming from north of Mandurah?
Park at John Tonkin High School oval (off Tindale Street) and then catch the free and convenient, regular shuttle bus service straight to the event.
  • Heading to Crab Fest from south of Mandurah?
The Western Foreshore car parking, manned by the local SES team, will also have a $5 parking fee with proceeds going to the SES.
Then take a short walk over the bridge to get amongst the Crab Fest activities.

Mewburn Centre car park on the corner of Sholl Street and Church Street will be reserved for ACROD parking. The parking areas will be manned during these times.

Don't forget to check out the road closures in place during Crab Fest weekend.

Taxi ranks on Mandurah Terrace and Tuckey Street will be closed. A temporary taxi rank will be situated on Sholl Street, between Barracks Lane and Tuckey Street (outside Woolworths).

Crab Fest is a family-friendly event for all to enjoy, so for the weekend, the foreshore is a smoke-free zone (alcohol restricted to licensed bars). Pets are prohibited at this event.
